RB Leipzig to Face Eintracht Frankfurt on June 3
The 2023 DFB-Pokal final will be held on Saturday, June 3, at the Olympiastadion in Berlin, Germany. RB Leipzig and Eintracht Frankfurt will square off for the title, which will be the 80th edition of the annual German football cup competition.
RB Leipzig reached the final by defeating Union Berlin in the semifinals, while Eintracht Frankfurt advanced by beating Borussia Dortmund. The match will be a rematch of the 2019 DFB-Pokal final, which Eintracht Frankfurt won 3-1.
The DFB-Pokal is the second most important domestic cup competition in German football, after the Bundesliga. The winner of the DFB-Pokal qualifies for the UEFA Europa League.
